Squirrels Were Chewing on the Wires in this House in Ellenwood, Georgia

Squirrels gnawed at both a 110 volt and a 220 volt electric wire in the attic of a house in Ellenwood Georgia

Squirrel Damage to Wiring in Ellenwood

The blue wire looks like a 110/120 volt wire and probably is a lighting wire. The thicker black wire is a 220/240 volt wire and probably goes to something like an air conditioner. Either wire could have caused a fire, especially the blue one, whose copper common conductor is exposed.
