Mice got in through the space around the air conditioning pipes where they pass through the exterior wall

Not only the gap around the pipe, but also the insulation around it, made it easy for mice to get into this house in Lawrenceville, Georgia. The insulation makes it easier for them to climb, sort of like a padded rubber track makes it easier for runners to get a good grip.
