How honey bees got into a house in Atlanta

When honey bees build nests in buildings, they usually build them in empty spaces such as wall and ceiling voids. But these spaces may be quite a distance away from the holes they used to get into the house. That's one reason why treating the entry hole is never an effective way to remove honey bees from a home. This gap between the mortar and an exposed beam was how honey bees got into a house in Atlanta.
