Raccoon damage to a soffit in Athens
Judging by the size of the hole and the fact that the damage isn't new, this raccoon damage to a house in Athens, Georgia was probably made by a young raccoon a year or more ago. Young male raccoons tend to leave home in the fall and spend their first winters either alone or with other "bachelor" males.
