Gap of about half an inch in the edge of the roof allowed flying squirrels into the attic of a house in Chattanooga Tennessee

This gap looks to be just slightly over two inches, but that was plenty big enough for flying squirrels to get into the attic of this house in Chattanooga, Tennessee. They're much smaller animals than most folks realize.
