Water Damage and a Mouse Hole at a House in Cumming, Georgia

Water rot of the wooden trim and a gap in the weather seal allowed mice into the garage of a house in Cumming Georgia

Water damage and a mouse hole in Cumming

I'm not sure whether the water rot had anything to do with the mouse problem in the garage in Cumming, Georgia. The weather seal is missing a section, so probably the mice got in that way.

The thing is that the water problem has to be taken care of in order for us to permanently seal the mice out of the house. Just replacing the weather seal won't work because the mice will be able to poke their noses through the damaged wood to get into the house.

We'll fix the water damage, replace the seal, remove the mice from the garage, and make the whole house mouse-proof.
