Rats Got into this Decatur, Georgia Home Through a Gap Around the Gas Pipe

Rat entry around a gas pipe in Decatur
That hole is way too big for the gas pipe going through it. I'm also not sure the plumber sealed around it at all. It looks like they may have tried sealing it with mortar, which would be fine except that mortar isn't made for sealing holes.
The rats didn't spend too much time pondering how the gap got there, however. They're not deep thinkers. They just used the hole to get into this house in Athens, Georgia.
We'll trap and remove the rats, and seal up that hole and any other gaps we find, to keep rats out of this house.
