Squirrel Entry Gap into a House in Cumming, Georgia

The wooden trim has a roughly two by three inch rectangular gap where the siding meets the bricks that allowed squirrels into the house

Structural squirrel entry gap in Cumming

This squirrel gap was built into the house. I can't think of any sort of settling that would cause a gap of that shape and size to appear on the house post-construction. It's been that way since the house was built.

The local squirrel population was grateful for the easy way into the attic of this house in Cumming, Georgia. The homeowner, not so much.

We'll trap and remove the squirrels from the attic, and seal that gap and any others we find so no more squirrels can get in.
