Mouse Hole Through a Garage Door Seal in Fayetteville, Georgia
How mice got into a garage in Fayetteville
One might rightfully wonder why the mice chewed through the weather seal at the door frame rather than just going under it where there's a gap. My guess is that there are two reasons.
The first reason is that mice aren't deep thinkers.
The second reason is that mice have relatively poor vision, and they tend to feel their way along vertical surfaces. If the mouse approached from the right side, it probably would start gnawing at the first gap it found where it could get its teeth around the rubber
Whatever the reason behind the mouse's decision, what we've decided to do is catch and remove the mice, replace the weather seal, and properly adjust the garage door, to prevent mice from getting into this house in Fayetteville, Georgia.
