Gap in the Roof Allowed Bats into the Attic of a House in Loganville, Georgia

Three eighth inch gap between the plywood roof sheathing and the fascia allowed bats into the attic of a house in Loganville Georgia

How bats got into an attic in Loganville

This three-eighths of an inch gap between the roof sheathing and fascia was exactly what the local bat community was looking for. That's a perfect size for a bat entry gap because larger predators can't follow the bats into the attic.

Unfortunately for the bats, we plan to seal that gap and any others we find to keep bats out of the attic of this house in Loganville, Georgia.
