Gap in the Trim Allowed Bats into the Attic of a House in Red Bank, Tennessee

Gap of about an inch between the diagonal roof trim and the shingles on top of the soffit allowed bats into a Red Bank Tennessee home

Bat entry gap into a house in Red Bank

My guess is that that gap between the trim and the shingles has been there since this house was built. That doesn't look like a settling situation to me.

We'll either replace the trim or seal the gap, depending on the customer's wishes, to keep bats out of the attic of this house in Red Bank, Tennessee. Either method will work as far as sealing the bats out, but replacing the trim will make for a more attractive job.
