Tiny Gap allowed Bats into the Attic of a House in Conyers, Georgia

One quarter inch gap between the roof sheathing and the drip edge allowed bats to get into the attic of a house in Conyers Georgia

How bats got into the attic of a house in Conyers

This tiny gap between the roof sheathing and the drip edge was all the space bats needed to get into the attic of this house in Conyers, Georgia.

Fortunately, the relative lack of staining suggests that this is a pretty new bat problem, so there shouldn't be that much in the way of bat cleanup to do. We'll seal the bats out of the attic and clean up whatever guano is up there, but probably only localized insulation replacement will be needed.
