Rat snake outside a house in Chattanooga
A customer with a dislike of snakes called us to remove this rat snake from the grass outside of their Chattanooga, Tennessee home.
Non-venomous snakes like rat snakes do a lot more good than harm. As their name implies, they eat their share of rodents. That's why unless you have a particular dislike of snakes, you may want to consider just leaving non-venomous snakes outside your house alone. Consider them free rodent control. If you just can't stand snakes, however, we'll be happy to remove and relocate them for you.
Once they get inside your home, however, snakes should be removed and released unharmed elsewhere. The house should also be inspected for a rodent problem (because that's probably what attracted the snakes), and sealed up to keep snakes and other critters out of the house.
