Installing a bat trap on a house in Atlanta

These kinds of bat traps aren't really traps, per se. They're more like check valves. The bats are able to get in the side against the house and fly through and out of them, but they're confounded when they try to fly back into the end hanging down from the soffit.

This is one of the techniques we use to make sure all the bats are out of the attic before completely sealing it up. We want to seal bats out of the attic of this house in Atlanta, not seal them inside the attic.
