Shoddy Trim Work Allowed Bats into the Attic of a House in Woodstock, Georgia

Bat gap into an attic in Woodstock

Apparently the trim carpenter cut the trim much too short, and then  tried to seal the gap with caulking. Caulking isn't designed to fill gaps anywhere near that big, so predictably, it didn't work. The resulting gap allowed bats into the attic of this house in Woodstock, Georgia.
