Tapered gap about half an inch on the wide end between the wooden roof trim and the shingles that allowed bats into the attic of a house in Grayson Georgia

The gap between the roof trim and the shingles may have been there since the house was built, but it looks more likely that it opened up over time as the roof settled.

Regardless of how the gap got there, we'll have to seal it up to keep bats out of the attic of this house in Grayson, Georgia.
