Attic Insulation in this Decatur, Georgia Home Needs Replacement
Attic insulation needs replacement in Decatur
In addition to contaminating attic insulation with their urine, feces, and shed parasites, animals in attic directly damage the insulation by tearing it down, using it for nesting material, or flattening it out as in this picture.
Flattened-out insulation loses most of its insulating ability because the insulation itself is basically a matrix for air. Once the air is "squeezed out" of the insulation, it can't do its job anymore.
Many (perhaps most) of our attic animal-removal jobs require cleaning up after the animals, removing and responsibly disposing of the filthy attic insulation, and replacing it with new, clean, energy-efficient insulation. That's what we'll do to make the attic of this house in Decatur, Georgia clean, healthy, and energy-efficient.
