Mouse gap into the attic of a house in Buford

Mice can climb much better than most people realize. In this case, the mice climbed up the brick wall of the house, into the rain gutter, and from there through that gap and into the attic.

Mice can also climb the insides of walls, trees and shrubs that touch the house, or up the insides of downspouts when insulated air-conditioning pipes are run through them.

We'll close up that gap between the roof sheathing and fascia as part of the job of mouse-proofing this house in Buford, Georgia.
