Squirrel hole through a soffit panel in Atlanta
The squirrels started gnawing near the edge of the soffit panel, but hit the framing. Rather than gnaw through it, they shifted their approach and gnawed through the adjacent part of the plywood soffit panel, resulting in that roughly triangular hole.
We'll repair or replace that section of soffit panel to keep squirrels out of the attic of this Atlanta home; and we'll trap, remove, and humanely relocate the squirrels who are already in the attic.
