Sagging Soffit Panel Allowed Squirrels into a House in Albany, Georgia

How gray squirrels got into this house in Albany
It looks like wood rot was the original problem that caused the plywood soffit panel to detach along its rear edge and start sagging. A passing squirrel noticed the gap and proceeded to move on into the attic of this house in Albany, Georgia.
We'll fix the water problem, replace the damaged wood, replace or reattach the soffit panel, and humanely trap and relocate the squirrels to a more suitable home in the forest.
