Mice got in through a sagging screen in Valdosta

That screen doesn't look original. The factory screens on foundation vents are usually attacked to the inside,  of the vent, not the outside.

Most likely, the homeowner or a handyman tried replacing the original screen to keep mice out of this house in Valdosta, Georgia -- and failed. Not only is screen poorly-attached, but it's way too flimsy to keep rodents out of a house. They could have gnawed through it in a matter of minutes.

We'll re-screen the vents with something more durable, and we'll set traps to non-chemically control the existing mouse infestation.
