Gap in the Edge of the Roof Needs to be Fixed to Rat-Proof a Marietta, Georgia Home

Gap a little less than two inches high along the edge of the roof needs to be sealed to exclude tree rats from the attic of a Marietta Georgia home.

Why this Marietta home has roof rats in the attic

What we have here is an example of how tree rats become roof rats. There's no difference between them. They're the same specie of rat. They're just called tree rats when they're in the trees and roof rats when they're in the attic.

The gap running along the edge of the roof allowed tree rats to get into the attic of this house in Marietta, Georgia, upon which they began enjoying the elevated status that comes with being a roof rat.

Their joy will be short lived, however. A crew from our Atlanta office is setting traps to catch and remove the rats from the attic of this Marietta home, and will be rodent-proofing the entire house to prevent future infestations.
