We'll be Replacing this Dryer Vent to Keep Mice Out of this House in Atlanta

The dryer vent is sticking out about an inch from the brick wall and its flapper door is sprung which allowed mice into a house in Atlanta.

Why this brick house in Atlanta has mice

Between the dryer vent sticking out from the wall and the flapper door on the vent being sprung, it's no surprise that this house in Atlanta is full of mice.

We actually come across this all the time. Those vents need to be secured to the house either inside or outside the wall, otherwise they creep out over time. Also, vents that rely on a flapper door on a hinge inevitably become useless in terms of keeping mice out of the house when the springs get sprung or the flapper doors get bent.

We'll trap and remove the mice that are already in the house, and replace the dryer vent with a rodent-resistant one that will help make this Atlanta home permanently mouse-proof and mouse-free.
