Mouse gap through the siding in Woodstock
This is such a common situation that it's pretty much assumed to be the case whenever someone calls about a mouse problem. The mice got into this house in Woodstock, Georgia through a gap around the air-conditioning pipes and wires where they were passed through the siding.
Mice are pretty good climbers to begin with; and when you add on the foam insulation around the refrigerant lines, they basically make a footbridge that mice can use to get into the house. Once they get in, they travel throughout the house through the wall voids.
As always, we'll clear up the existing mouse infestation using traps, not poisons; and close all the gaps around the house to prevent future problems with pest rodents.
