Stained Bricks Told a Story at this Americus, Georgia Roof Rat Control Job

Heavy greasy stains on the bricks of a house in Americus Georgia under a small section of shingle at a junction point.

Roof rat rub marks on the bricks in Americus

The stains on the bricks were caused by roof rats getting into this house in Americus, Georgia. They're commonly called "rub marks" and are a combination of the rats' bodily oils, wastes, and whatever other filth they picked up on their fur in the course of their travels.

The considerable amount of staining tells me that the rat problem at this house didn't happen overnight. They've been up there for at least a month or so, and maybe longer.
