Handyman's bat-proofing attempt at a Macon Home
A lot of the jobs we do were previously attempted by people who aren't wildlife-management professionals, such as carpenters, roofers, and especially handymen. With money being tight for most folks, they try to have their animal problems treated as inexpensively as possible; and very often a handyman's quote is the cheapest price.
Unfortunately, handymen almost never know anything at animal exclusion. They really have no idea how resourceful animals can be when they have a mind to get into a home or building, or how small a gap animals like bats need to get inside a house. Consequently, almost all animal-proofing attempts by handymen fail; and the customers wind up paying for the job twice in the end.
This video was taken while following up after a handyman who tried, but failed, to seal bats out of the attic of a house in Macon, Georgia.
