Handyman rat-proofing attempt in Helena
The handyman who attempted to seal roof rats out of this house in Helena, Alabama failed to apply any sealant to the hardware-cloth he used as a rodent barrier. He also left a gap between the bottom of the hardware cloth and the shingles that allowed rats into the attic, as you can tell by the rub marks on the shingles.
A rodent pest control crew from our Birmingham branch is on the scene properly rat-proofing the house, and using traps to non-chemically eradicate the existing rat population.
