Mouse gap through a brick wall in Dunwoody
This is a pretty common situation. Whoever passed those pipes through the brick wall (most likely an air-conditioning installer) used mortar to seal around them. While I commend their efforts -- most installers don't even do that much -- mortar is the wrong material to use. It shrinks and crumbles over time, falling out of the wall and creating gaps that rodents can use to get into the house.
