The staining around the hole indicates that tree rats have been using it to get into the attic of this Vestavia Hills, Alabama home for a while. A rat control crew working out of our Birmingham office is non-chemically treating the rat problem using trapping and removal, and installing a metal pest barrier over the gaps in the roof eaves to keep rodent pests and nuisance wildlife out of the attic.
