It's not clear in the picture, but there's a gap in the fascia several inches in from the gap between the shingles and the rain gutter; and that gap is why we have a crew doing bat removal at this Columbus, Georgia home this morning.

Bat removal is a passive process. We don't actually remove the bats from the attic. We use one-way traps to prevent them from getting back in after they return from feeding. That assures that all the bats are out of the attic before we animal-proof the roof. We don't want to seal any bats inside the attic.
