Apparently the carpenter or roofer cut the sheathing about three inches too short, and the resulting gap allowed bats into the attic of this Dawson, Georgia home. A bat-removal crew from our South Georgia office is covering all the edges of the roof around the entire perimeter of the house with a metal animal barrier that will keep bats and other nuisance wildlife out of the attic.
