Squirrel removed from the attic of a Columbus home

Here's a cute young squirrel that was trapped and removed from the attic of a house in Columbus, Georgia. Like young squirrels in general, it's more curious than afraid. They don't naturally fear humans when they're young unless the human acts aggressively toward them.

It's been an unusual year for squirrels so far. We're coming across young squirrels ranging from newborns to almost ready to set out on their own. The ones that are still dependent on their mothers get relocated with their families.
