The raccoon was in the attic, which is not unusual. Raccoons are good climbers and can be found in any part of a house or commercial building. They're also very strong, smart animals who can do a lot of damage getting in and make a big mess while they're inside the house.
Finally, raccoons are decidedly unfriendly animals and can cause serious injury or death. They also have a fairly high rate of rabies. They're not an animal you should try to remove on your own. Call us instead. It's what we do.
